Ration card status in ap / ap rice card
Ration card is the document that is made by the government of India through which the poor people of this state are able to get food supplies at a subsidized rate. Through the implementation of this ration card, it is very easy for poor people to get food products and also enjoy their life as normal people. Ration card is also sometimes used for identification purposes to avail the benefits of certain schemes which are launched by the government of India.
Government of Andhra Pradesh has started to replace old ration card with new Rice Card from 14th February 2020. Under this process AP Government will Replace approximately 1, 29,00,000 ration card. Department of Consumer Affairs Food and civil supplies Andhra Pradesh public Distribution system has informed that approximately 18 lakh beneficiary were found Doubtful. The Identification of beneficiary for new AP Rice Card has been done by Volunteer from door to door survey. Now the beneficiary has been identified as a beneficiary will get YSR Rice Card.

Due to the corona virus spread all over the world, nationwide lockdown step has been taken by the Indian Government. Everyone has to stay at their homes. No one is allowed to go out without permission. Andhra Pradesh Government has taken various steps to break the spread chain. Ration card holders of the Andhra Pradesh state will get free ration along with 1KG toordal at their doorstep during this period. Beneficiaries will also get moderate benefit of Rs. 1000/- directly into their bank account.

The beneficiary list of AP Rice Card has been prepared by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and these beneficiaries will get a number of food items at the subsidized rates. This scheme will also provide benefits to those beneficiaries who have lost their ration card in past. Now Government has decided to issue new Rice cards to all eligible families and enrol all eligible missing cases.
